When you first open the app, you'll go through an onboarding flow where you can add your first dog. After that, go to Settings and tap 'Add Dog' to add more dogs. You can enter their name and optionally add a profile photo.

Yes! Dog Poop App supports multiple dogs. Add as many dogs as you need through the Settings screen. When logging a poop, you'll be prompted to select which dog if you have more than one. You can also filter your log history by specific dog.

You can log size (Small, Medium, Large), color (Brown, Dark Brown, Light Brown, Yellow, Green, Black, or Red), consistency (Hard, Normal, Soft, or Liquid), date and time, optional notes, and location. Only the timestamp is required - everything else is optional.

No, all data is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect or store any of your data on external servers. This means your data is completely private, but it also means if you delete the app or lose your device, your data will be lost. We recommend periodically noting any important health observations separately.

To delete a dog, go to Settings, find the dog you want to remove, and tap the delete option. This will also delete all poop logs associated with that dog. To clear all data and start fresh, go to Settings and use the 'Clear All Data' option. This will reset the app to the onboarding screen.

The full logging flow guides you through each step: dog selection (if you have multiple dogs), size, color, consistency, and final details. Quick Log lets you create an entry with just the timestamp, skipping the detailed options. Use Quick Log when you're in a hurry and just want to record that a poop happened.

You can view your history in two ways: List View shows all entries chronologically with expandable details, and Calendar View shows an interactive calendar with visual indicators on days with logged poops. Tap any entry or date to see full details including size, color, consistency, notes, and location.
